Employment History With Chamber:

Convention Services Manager: Coordinate services for groups that have selected the Myrtle Beach area as the destination for their event. Those services may include area welcome packets, promotional items, speaker selection, entertainment, spouse activity programs, name badges and registration assistance. Also, represents the Convention Bureau in a host community capacity by delivering welcome speeches and/or acting as a liaison between the planner and government officials for such welcome speeches and proclamations.

Serves as secretary to the Convention Bureau committee.

Sports Specialist: Works to promote the Myrtle Beach area as a premier sports event destination through direct sales and marketing efforts including sales calls to such planners. Attends national events such as 4-6 trade shows, sales blitzes, receptions and planner familiarization trips.
