 Fly Sky-High on New Slingshot Ride
If you’re at the beach around 12th Avenue North, you may be alarmed by screams piercing the air. Don’t worry — the shrieks aren’t cries of danger. They’re yells of exhilaration coming from the latest rider of the gripping new slingshot thrill ride that debuted this summer. It’s the opposite of bungee jumping; the ride stands 210 feet tall and slings riders 180 feet up in the air just like a slingshot! Talk about a bird’s eye view of the beach! This is just one of many thrilling activities along the Grand Strand. |
