Did You See That Yak?

Come to the Hawaiian Tropic 54th Annual Sun Fun Festival June 2-6 and you'll see one of only six Yak 54s flying in the world. This aircraft is nearly twice the size of other monoplanes and capable of executing “high G” turns, multiple rolls, gyroscopic tumbles and other manuevers you won't want to miss! The Yak 54 is just one of many high flying aerobatic and precision demonstration teams performing at this year's festival air show slated for Saturday, June 4 from 2-4 p.m. Learn more about the Sun Fun air show participants . . .

Look! It's Magic... Castles, Dragons, Oh My!

Professional sculptors will build the ultimate castles, dragons, and other visages in the sand at the Pavilion to celebrate the “Start of Summer” in the Myrtle Beach area. Sand artist get a jump start on the celebration of the starting of summer as they begin work June 1 in front of the Myrtle Beach Pavilion.
